Zusammenfassung:Neutron diffraction measurements made down to 2.2 K on single crystal samples of the Kondo system Y:Ce have determined that the spatial extent of the impurity magnetic moment is the same as that of the Ce3+ ion. The Kondo temperature TK is probably greater than 6 K. The magnitude of the moment determined by neutron measurements agrees with that obtained from magnetization measurements in the temperature range 2.2 to 30 K.
