IUPAC-NIST Solubility Data Series. 80. Gaseous Fluorides of Boron, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Carbon, and Silicon and Solid Xenon Fluorides in all Solvents

The literature has been searched through 2002 June for solubility data on the gases BF 3 , NF 3 , N 2 F 4 , SF 6 , CF 4 , CHF 3 , CH 2 F 2 , CH 3 F , C 2 F 6 , CHF 5 , 1,1,1,2- C 2 H 2 F 4 , 1,1,1- C 2 H 3 F 3 , 1,1- C 2 H 4 F 2 , CH 5 F , C 3 F 8 , c- C 4 F 8 , C 2 F 4 , 1,1- C 2 H 2 F 2 , C 2 H 3 F , C 3 F 6 , C 3 F 6 O , and SiF 4 and the solids XeF 6 , XeF 4 , and XeF 2 in all solvents. The data are compiled here. Where feasible evaluations have been carried out. The evaluations were mostly carried out for water as a solvent as the water systems are the most extensively studied. For other systems there is often only one set of measurement or two sets of measurements, which do not agree well. Evaluation of such systems will have to wait on more experimental measurements.
