Analysis of Isotope Exchange Reactions among Nitrogen Oxides Involving N2O3

The fundamental frequencies of isotopic N2O3 molecules and equilibrium constants of isotope exchange reactions involving N2O3 have been calculated from available spectroscopic data. The calculations are compared with observed fractionation factors for nitrogen isotope exchange between N2O3 and NO, reported previously, and with experimental fractionation factors for oxygen isotope exchange, reported in this paper. The effect of phase changes on the isotopic equilibrium constant has been estimated.
