Recalibration of the NBS Carbon‐14 Standard by Geiger‐Müller and Proportional Gas Counting

Compensated internal gas counters have been constructed for the recalibration of the National Bureau of Standards carbon‐14 solution standards. Satisfactory agreement has been obtained by counting in both the proportional and Geiger regions.
