Zusammenfassung:Electron scattering phenomena are investigated in the first Born approximation for homonuclear diatomic molecules. The two-center integrals that must be evaluated to find the scattering cross sections are calculated in an approximation which is accurate for small momentum transfer. Application is made to the elastic scattering in H2 and to some excitational scattering in H2+, H2, and N2.
