Zusammenfassung:Rotational spectra in the first-excited torsional states of a number of isotopic species of dimethylamine have been assigned. Internal rotation splittings were observed and have been used to calculate a barrier of 3.22 ± 0.02 kcal mole−1. Inversion splittings differ significantly from those observed in the ground state spectra while 14N quadrupole effects are unchanged within experimental error.
