Superhyperfine Interactions in CdF2:Yb

The superhyperfine structure of Yb3+ in CdF2 has been observed. Fitting of the structure was done according to the model of Ranon and Hyde. The principal values of the interaction tensor T were approximated to be − 16.7 MHz for T⊥ and 37.8 MHz for T‖.
