Zusammenfassung:Band models previously applied to off-state chalcogenide-glass/crystalline Si heterojunctions are shown to be applicable to these devices after the threshold-type glass is switched into the on state. In addition, it appears that the on state can be maintained by the injection of electrons from the amorphous semiconductor into n-type Si, contrary to some double-injection models for threshold switching.
