Intensity-invariant subpicosecond absorption saturation in heavy-ion irradiated bulk GaAs

A comparison with other types of ion irradiation shows that heavy-ion-irradiated GaAs is a very promising material for ultrafast optoelectronics and optical processing at high repetition rates. |
