Zusammenfassung: | A single‐shot autocorrelator for the ultraviolet based on multiphoton ionization of gases has been developed. It makes use of a modified Mach–Zehnder interferometer and a segmented two‐photon‐ionization chamber as a spatial square‐of‐intensity detector. The device has in principle a continuously variable temporal detection range from ∼50 fs to 50 ps. |
