Zusammenfassung: | Abstract
While genitourinary tract interventions have become routine in many interventional practices, the role of ultrasound as the imaging guidance method has frequently been overlooked and underutilized. Ultrasound has dramatically expanded the role of the interventional radiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary tract pathology. This article details the advantages, technical considerations, and clinical utility of ultrasound guidance in the genitourinary system. Specifically, renal, perirenal, bladder, and genital ultrasound procedures will be discussed. |
