A Facile Anchoring of the Bisphosphonate Moiety into Alcohols and Phenols through Copper Carbenoid Mediated O-H Insertion Reaction
Abstract A straightforward procedure ensuring the anchoring of bisphosphonate moiety into alcohols or phenols is described. The method uses a bisphosphonate-metal-carbenoid O-H insertion reaction for which copper(II) triflate was found to be an efficient catalyst.
