A Novel One-Pot Reaction of Heterocyclic Ketene Aminals: Synthesis of a Small Library of Tetrahydropyridinone-Fused 1,3-Diazaheterocycles

Abstract Inspired by the concept of multicomponent reactions, a novel one-pot reaction involving heterocyclic ketene aminals (HKAs), Meldrum’s acid and aldehydes has been developed and employed for the construction of a small library of tetrahydropyridinone-fused 1,3-diazaheterocycles.
