Zusammenfassung: | Objectives:
To report on the experience with a supraannular implantation technique and early hemodynamic results of the new Freedom Solo valve (Sorin Group, Saluggia, Italy).
Methods:
After annular decalcification the prosthesis was implanted in a supraannular aortic position in the sinuses of valsalva using a single running suture line of polypropylene 4–0. Echocardiography was performed to observe gradients and regurgitation.
Results:
In 69 patients age was 77.7±6.7 years, 20 patients were male. Logistic EuroSCORE was 13.4±10.7. Isolated aortic valve replacement was performed in 40 patients; concomittant procedures covered CABG, mitral procedures, subvalvular myectomy and atrial ablations. Valve size was 26.1±2.2mm, crossclamp time 40.6±8.1 minutes in isolated valve replacement. 30 day mortality was 2.9% due to one myocardial infarction and one mesenteric infarction. Hemodynamics at discharge were favoreable with low peak and mean gradients and without paravalvular leakages and only minimal regurgitation ( |
