Zusammenfassung:Purpose: The aim of our investigation was to study monthly biorhythms of maternal and fetal blood flow at physiological pregnancy with different placental localization. Methods and Materials: 640 women with physiological pregnancy (221- with right side, 200- with left side, 219– with bilateral placental location) were examined in II and III trimesters. We studied such parameters of blood flow as: S/D ratio, PI, IR in right and left maternal uterine arteries, umbilical artery and assessed frequency-peak parameters of biorhythms: mesor, amplitude, period, acrophase. Results: The greatest amplitude of biorhythms of blood flow in umbilical and both maternal uterine arteries was registered at left side placental location (0.153; 0.071; 0.050). Differences of the periods of biorhythms of blood flow in various placental subgroups were found. At right side placental location the period in right uterine artery was 8.5 weeks, in left uterine artery –4.5 weeks, in umbilical artery -12 weeks. At left side placental location the prolongation of the periods of biorhythms in uterine arteries (9 weeks in both uterine arteries) and shortening of the period of biorhythm in umbilical artery (6 weeks) was found. At bilateral localization of placenta the prolongation of the period of biorhythm in uterine arteries (8.5 weeks for right uterine artery and 6.5 weeks for left uterine artery) also was registered. In umbilical artery shortening of the period (8.5 weeks) was found. Conclusions: Placental location defines initiation of various programs of chronophysiological “behavior“. The irritation of left cerebral hemispheres of brain of mother with right side placental location by afferent impulses defines higher frequency of biorhythms of blood flow in maternal arteries and low frequency of biorhythms of blood flow in fetus. On the contrary, at left side placental localization prolongation of biorhythms of maternal blood flow and increase in frequency of biorhythms of fetal blood flow is registered.
