Regioselective Synthesis of Difluoromethylated Oxazolidines and 2-Imidazolines

Abstract Difluoromethylated oxazolidines and 2-imidazolines were synthesized regioselectively by the reaction of 2-(difluoromethyl)-1-tosylaziridine with various aldehydes or nitriles in the presence of silver(I) hexafluoroantimonate or titanium(IV) fluoride, respectively.
