Zusammenfassung: | It is well accepted in the field of rhinoplasty that knowledge of surgical and applied anatomy is critical for success in evaluation and performance of rhinoplasty. This article discusses all aspects of the anatomy of the lower third or the tip of the nose, with comprehensive illustrations. Every attempt has been made to make these illustrations anatomically correct, and they are augmented by photographs taken at fresh cadaver dissections. It is hoped that the reader will gain a grounding in the surgical anatomy to facilitate the clinical implications of surgery of the tip of the nose. References are given for those who wish to pursue the subject in greater detail. |
