Zusammenfassung: | A lot of turbulence models are based on the turbulent viscosity concept. This results in the introduction of a non uniform diffusion process in the Navier Stokes equations. The aim of this work is to investigate the capability of some existing particle modelling to solve this kind of problem. Three different methods have been selected, the Strength Exchange Method, the Random Vortex Method and the Diffusion Velocity Method. All three methods have been tested on the problem of the turbulent transport of a passive scalar in a jet. |
