Zusammenfassung:The paper deals with the fact that gassing of the East inclined longwall (EIL) # 3 of the m 3 bed at the «O.F. Zasiadko mine» are caused by a combination of mining-geological conditions. The main geological factor is the presence of a synclinal fold, characterized by increased fracturing. The map construction of local structures, the use of gravity data and seismological observations allow to effectively isolate gas-saturated zones and, therefore, correct degassing projects and parameters of ways to prepare workings.
