Zusammenfassung: | The authors address the performance analysis of the least squares (LS) Prony method for estimating the natural frequencies of radar target in the study. Based on the perturbation theory and the Taylor series expansion, the authors get explicit expressions of the mean square error (MSE) of the LS solution, the MSE of the z-plane natural frequencies and the MSE of the s-plane natural frequencies. The validity of the derived expressions is demonstrated by comparing the analytic results with simulation results. For further validation of the results, simulation results of the GPOF method have been used for comparison. |
