Zusammenfassung: | In this study, the structure of Y-source converter is improved in order to achieve continuous current at the input side of the Y-source converter. Continuous input current reduces the size and stress of utilised elements. In addition to shoot-through duty cycle, the proposed converter uses coupled transformer to produce the required voltage gain. The obtained gain can be tuned by varying the turns ratio of the coupled transformer. Shared core is used for all windings. Hence, the cost of transformer is almost fixed in comparison with the related structures, but voltage gain is much higher than similar structures. The operating principles and steady-state analyses are presented to express the operational concept. Also, experimental results are given to verify the validity of the proposed converter. |
