Zusammenfassung: | Distribution system customers are consistently encouraged to maintain better power factor. The power factor is crucial in deciding the feeder power losses so the loss allocation method must incorporate this fact thereby rewarding or penalising the concerned customers. Therefore, it is imperative to have a judicious reflection of load power factor while designing a loss allocation method. This study proposes a new branch current decomposition method for distribution loss allocation that inherently considers load power factor. The proposed BCDM is investigated on 30-bus and 33-bus test distribution systems. The simulation results reveal the significance of the proposed method. |
