Zusammenfassung:This study introduces a novel method for creating surface coatings from porous materials, specifically metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and porous coordination cages (PCCs). Employing a cost-effective medical nebulizer, we aerosolize MOF and cage particles onto diverse surfaces. The method's versatility is demonstrated by successful coating of various materials, including mixed MOF constituents. Characterization analyses confirm material integrity and stability, highlighting its potential for practical applications. The technique offers a rapid and reproducible means of generating uniform coatings with controlled properties, addressing challenges in scalability and stability associated with these advanced materials. This novel approach holds promise for diverse applications in environmental, industrial, and technological contexts. This study introduces an novel method for creating surface coatings from porous materials, specifically metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and porous coordination cages (PCCs).
