Zusammenfassung:CsAB 8 O 12 F 2 ·CsI (A = K + , NH 4 + ), with benign layered structures, were designed using the strategy of salt-inclusion based on the typical fluorooxoborate template. CsKB 8 O 12 F 2 ·CsI achieves suitable birefringence (0.08 at 1064 nm) and a moderate second harmonic generation (SHG) response (0.6 × KDP at 1064 nm) with a short phase-matching wavelength (270 nm).
