Zusammenfassung:A new Zn( ii ) coordination polymer, namely, {[Zn 2 (BIP) 2 (L)]·2H 2 O} n ( 1 ) (H 4 L = 5,5′-(triazole-2,5-diyl)diisophthalic acid, BIP = 4,4′-bis(imidazol-1-yl)phenyl) has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopic, elemental and thermogravimetric analyses. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses indicate that CP 1 exhibits a unique 3D two-fold interpenetrated network with a point symbol of {6 4 ·8 2 }. CP 1 displays high sensitivity in the detection of acetone, Fe 3+ , Cu 2+ , Cr 2 O 7 2− , CrO 4 2− and nitrofurantoin (NFT) in N , N -dimethylformamide (DMF). One novel 3D interpenetrated Zn( ii ) CP acts as multi-functional chemosensors in detection of acetone, Fe 3+ , Cu 2+ , Cr 2 O 7 2− , CrO 4 2− and nitrofurantoin (NFT).
