Zusammenfassung:Treatment of an octanuclear RhIII4ZnII4 cluster containing 12 free carboxylate groups, K 6 [Rh 4 Zn 4 O( l -cys) 12 ] (K 6 [ 1 ], l -H 2 cys = l -cysteine), with inorganic acids (HX = HBr, H 2 SO 4 ) produced ionic crystals of [H 9 1 ]X 3 composed of nona-protonated [H 9 1 ] 3+ cations and X anions. The H-bonded metallosupramolecular helices in [H 9 1 ]X 3 , which showed proton conductivity and ammonia adsorption, were controlled by the employed inorganic anions.
