Scalable one-step synthesis of TiO 2 /WO 3 films on titanium plates with an efficient electron storage ability

We describe a scalable method to synthesize TiO 2 /WO 3 film electrodes through a one-step oxidation of Ti plates in a mixture of H 2 O 2 and peroxotungstic acid solution. This composite film with a relatively low content of hexagonal phase WO 3 displayed an excellent electron storage ability.
