Effect of Ecdysone on the Puparium Formation in Irradiated Ephestia kühniella Z

COMPLETE inhibition of metamorphosis and pupa formation is observed in some insect species when they are irradiated with 20 kr. and more of γ and X-rays 1 . Puparium formation is delayed in Ephestia kühniella by doses of 20–30 kr. 2–4 .
