Zusammenfassung:BY prolonged heating at 1,000° C. of the blue β-tungsten oxide of composition WO 2.90 , formed by heating appropriate mixtures of tungsten powder and tungsten trioxide in vacuo , minute crystal needles were produced, suitable for single crystal investigation 1 . On the basis of X-ray data obtained in this way, it has been possible to work out the structure of this compound.
