Zusammenfassung:Enantioselective desymmetrization of C s -symmetric (η5-1,2,3-triallylic indenyl)­M­(II) complexes (1; M = Fe or Ru) was realized by the molybdenum-catalyzed asymmetric ring-closing metathesis, and the corresponding planar-chiral metallocenes 2 were obtained in good yields with high enantioselectivity of up to 98% ee.
