Zusammenfassung:	The synthesis of a partially selenium substituted complex of the ..pi..-electron-donor molecule 4,5:4',5'-bis(alkylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalenes is described. The substituted complex 4,5:4',5'-bis(propylene-1,3-diseleno)tetrathiafulvalene (BPDSe-TTF) was investigated, and some selected physical properties of BPDSe-TTF are described.
