Density of Methanol + Water between 250 K and 440 K and up to 40 MPa and Vapor−Liquid Equilibria from 363 K to 440 K

The density of methanol + water has been measured between 257.3 K and 442.15 K as a function of pressure at five compositions by means of a high-pressure apparatus implementing a metal bellows as a simple cell. Bubble pressures have been determined at five temperatures between 363.15 K and 442.15 K....

Zusammenfassung:The density of methanol + water has been measured between 257.3 K and 442.15 K as a function of pressure at five compositions by means of a high-pressure apparatus implementing a metal bellows as a simple cell. Bubble pressures have been determined at five temperatures between 363.15 K and 442.15 K. They are compared with literature data that have been correlated by using the “excess function-equation of state” model.
