Density and Viscosity of Mixtures of Dimethyl Sulfoxide + Methanol, +Ethanol, +Propan-1-ol, +Propan-2-ol, +Butan-1-ol, +2-Methylpropan-1-ol, and +2-Methylpropan-2-ol at 298.15 K and 303.15 K

Densities and viscosities have been measured for the binary mixtures of dimethyl sulfoxide + methanol, +ethanol, +propan-1-ol, +propan-2-ol, +butan-1-ol, +2-methylpropan-1-ol, and +2-methylpropan-2-ol at 298.15 K and 303.15 K. From these results, the excess molar volume (V E) and deviation in viscos...

Zusammenfassung:Densities and viscosities have been measured for the binary mixtures of dimethyl sulfoxide + methanol, +ethanol, +propan-1-ol, +propan-2-ol, +butan-1-ol, +2-methylpropan-1-ol, and +2-methylpropan-2-ol at 298.15 K and 303.15 K. From these results, the excess molar volume (V E) and deviation in viscosity (Δη) have been computed. These properties are used to calculate regression coefficients of the Redlich−Kister equation.
