Zusammenfassung:Calorimetric values of vapor heat capacity for carbon disulfide were compared with values accurately calculated from the molecular spectra. Carbon disulfide was found to be a suitable liquid substance for testing the accuracy of vapor-flow calorimeters. Values of enthalpy of vaporization, vapor pressure, and parameters of the equation of state also were determined. The chemical thermodynamic properties were calculated for temperatures between 0 and 1500/sup 0/K.
