Photophysics of the phases of poly(di-n-hexylsilane)
Time-resolved fluorescence and fluorescence anisotropy measurements have been performed on solution, glass, film and powdered phases of the high molecular weight polysilane poly(di-n-hexylsilane). The emission lifetime is 4 times longer in crystalline compared to solution phases of the polymer, but...

Zusammenfassung: | Time-resolved fluorescence and fluorescence anisotropy measurements have been performed on solution, glass, film and powdered phases of the high molecular weight polysilane poly(di-n-hexylsilane). The emission lifetime is 4 times longer in crystalline compared to solution phases of the polymer, but the decay of anisotropy is essentially unchanged. Evidence is presented for an isolated rodlike phase at low temperature. |
