Zusammenfassung: | Small zeolite crystals may have a substantial fraction of their active sites located on the crystal exterior. Catalytic characterization of these small crystals in cases where intracrystalline diffusion limitations are significant requires a consideration of the contributions of both the external surface and the intracrystlline active sites. A model accounting for the effectiveness of both types of sites is proposed for first-order reactions. |
