Zusammenfassung:	Methods for the analysis of sulphur and nitrogen pollutants sampled with water-quenched probes from pulverised-coal combustors have been developed. Analyses are outlined for the measurement of SO/sub 2/, H/sub 2/S, COS, CS/sub 2/ and NO in the gas-phase samples, SO/sub 4/, S, CH and NH/sub 4/ in the liquid-phase sample, and total sulphur and nitrogen in the solid-phase sample. Permanent gas analysis and solid ultimate analysis methods are also presented. These methods were applied to the analysis of 3-phase samples from a laboratory-scale pulverised coal combustor in a series of 3 tests with 2 different coals. The results are discussed.
