A Piaget learning-cycle laboratory approach to teaching descriptive inorganic chemistry

The recent neglect of descriptive chemistry has had adverse consequences for the coming generations of chemists. This author shares a laboratory approach that brings descriptive chemistry back into the curriculum and does so using the learning cycle.
