Zusammenfassung:A new “on water” MW-assisted esterification protocol using fatty chlorides and acetonidehydroxytyrosol as starting materials, giving rise to a one-pot multistep reaction, without any added catalyst is described. The reaction took place at the interface oil/water thus being strictly dependent on the lipophilicity of the fatty acid acyl chloride. The potential scale-up of the method was also reported.
