Zusammenfassung: | One-dimensional photonic crystals comprising multibilayered films with precisely controlled thickness exhibit structural color, which is strongly influenced by background light and is observed as a combination of structural and background colors. Dynamically tunable structural color can be achieved by tuning the background color and turning the structural color on and off. In this study, two types of photochromic dyes, i.e., diarylethene and azobenzene polymer, were employed to control the dye color and structural color, respectively, and the multicolor states were regulated upon irradiation with light with different wavelengths and heating. A rewritable display with various colors was successfully demonstrated. |
