Zusammenfassung:This paper reports thermophysical property data on 14 high-purity industrially important chemicals, including melting point, enthalpy of fusion, and liquid heat capacity, as a function of temperature. These data were measured by using modulated differential scanning calorimetry. The compounds studied are 1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5-decafluoropentane (CAS 138495-42-8), 2-hydroxyhexanoic acid (CAS 6064-63-7), sorbitol (CAS 50-70-4), 2-nonanone (CAS 821-55-6), o-tolualcohol (CAS 89-95-2), erythritol (CAS 149-32-6), styrene glycol (CAS 93-56-1), terephthaldehyde (CAS 623-27-8), vanillic acid (CAS 121-34-6), cyclohexanecarboxaldehyde (CAS 2043-61-0), 3-cyclohexene-1-carboxaldehyde (CAS 100-50-5), 3-cyclohexene-1-methanol (CAS 1679-51-2), 2-methyl-1-pentanol (CAS 105-30-6), and 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol (CAS 2163-42-0). The measured values are compared to available data, common prediction methods, and data from similar compounds.
