Zusammenfassung: | A phosphoroscope and reflection assembly for a spectrodensitometer is described. They were employed to obtain room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) data from several nitrogen heterocycles adsorbed on dried silica gel and filter paper. The effects of acid and different gases on the RTP of these compounds adsorbed on silica gel and filter paper is discussed.
