Zusammenfassung:A molecular neutron activation analysis (MoNAA) procedure employing solvent extraction and high-performance liquid chromatography separation techniques with subsequent irradiation of the eluted fractions and radioassay for /sup 38/Cl activity is applied to the determination of trace quantities of DDT and its metabolites DDA (bis(p-chlorophenyl)acetic acid), DDD (1,1-dichloro-2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl)ethane), and DDE(1,1-dichloro-2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl)ethylene) in urine. Data and confirmation analyses using mass spectrometry are presented.
