Zusammenfassung:	This is the fifteenth review of analytical chemistry in the petroleum industry sponsored by the Division of Petroleum Chemistry of the American Chemical Society. It covers papers abstracted in Chemical Abstracts, American Petroleum Institute Refining Literature Abstracts, and Analytical Abstracts for the period July 1978 through June 1980. The format of the previous reviews has been followed in general. The subsections included are: crude oils; fuels, gaseous and liquid; lubricants, oils and greases; wax; asphalt; hydrocarbons; metals in oils; nonmetal elements and compounds; analytical and process instrumentation; and catalysts.
