Zusammenfassung: | Six transformations viz., , log[log (x + 2)] and log[log (x + k )] were tested for their efficiency in stabilizing variance of Coccus viridis (Green) population counts which followed negative binomial distribution. Only log[log(x + 2)] transformation was found effective in stabilizing variance. This is a new transformation proposed by the authors. Six transformations, á savoir, , log[log(x + 2)], et log[log(x + k)] ont été essayées pour leur efficacité concernant la stabilisation de variance des comptes de populations de Coccus viridis (Green), lequeles ont suivis une distributions binomiale negative. Seule la transformation log[log(x + 2)] s'est trouvée comme efficace pour stabiliser variance. C'est une nouvelle transformation proposée par les auteurs présents. |
