Zusammenfassung:[Display omitted] •1α-Hydroxy S19159 (1) is a new 24-homo-30-nor-cycloartane triterpenoid.•The configuration of 1α-hydroxy S19159 (1) was determined.•Known 1α-hydroxy S19159 (1) analogs were reviewed.•The bioactivity of 1α-hydroxy S19159 (1) was evaluated. A new triterpenoid belonging to the uncommon 24-homo-30-nor-cycloartane class was separated from the endophytic fungus Mycoleptodiscus indicus FT1137, which was isolated from the Hawaiian plant Stenocereus sp. The structure of compound 1 was determined by analysis of HRMS and NMR spectroscopic data. Compound 1 was also evaluated against human ovarian cancer cell line A2780.
