Zusammenfassung:In this work, we report the synthesis of lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2) nanoparticles by co-precipitation method using lithium nitrate and cobalt chloride as precursor materials in two different molar ratios with sodium hydroxide as a precipitating agent. Specimens of LiCoO2 were studied for its structural, morphological and dielectric properties through XRD, SEM, EDAX, FTIR, UV–visible spectroscopy techniques. In addition, the dielectric loss, dielectric constant and electrical conductivity of the calcinated samples were investigated in the frequency range from 1 Hz to 1 MHz at 40 °C and 80 °C, which confirms the increase of mole concentration, increases the physico-chemical properties of the synthesized sample. The synthesized specimen was tested for its effect in the amputation of impurities of the contaminant water collected from the unused bore well. The turbidity (NT units) level is reduced from 7 to 5; the level of ammonia (NH3) is reduced from 2.73 mg/L to 0.26 mg/L due to the result of agglomerationof the nanoparticles with the contaminant water.
