Zusammenfassung: | Using [C12H25(CH3)2N+(CH2)2N+(CH3)2C2H5][Br−]2 as a dual-function template, a hierarchical beta zeolite material was synthesized in the current work. This Beta zeolite material is characterized by a mesopore diameter distribution of about 5.20 nm and a high specific surface area (SBET(Beta)/SBET(MBeta) = 475.9/550.4). This hierarchical beta zeolite material is therefore a suitable catalyst carrier for medium and high-temperature catalytic reaction systems. This is particularly true for processes involving several intermediates and macromolecules.
