Zusammenfassung:Coprime-like arrays may waste space due to holes in the difference coarray. To address this problem, this paper proposes two improved methods to reduce their space occupation, such that they may be applicable to platform-limited scenarios. The first method is applied on seven types of coprime-like arrays, by moving their last array sensor forward, without affecting their uniform degree of freedom and the first t weight functions (t≥3). In comparison, the second method involves relocating the last two array elements under the same requirements as the first method, especially three types of coprime-like arrays produce a greater uniform degree of freedom. Numerical simulations demonstrate the rationality of our methods and effectiveness of the proposed arrays.
