Zusammenfassung: | Predictors of impaired quality of life (QoL) among asthmatic subjects are not completely understood. The aim of this study is to evaluate the demographic and clinical factors affecting QoL.
Adults who had a diagnosis of asthma for at least 1 year and applied to allergy and pulmonology clinic were included in the study. The accuracy of subjects’ inhaler techniques were evaluated by the clinicians. Medication adherence was assessed with 8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8). QoL of patients was evaluated with 36-Item Short Form Survey (SF-36). Relationship between the data collected and SF-36 subscale scores were evaluated.
